Guest Speaker: Dr Mick AbbottFrom completing the first traverse of the South Island NZ (131 day, 1600km solo trip included 32 crossings of the main divide) to designing and testing outdoor equipment, Mick has just about done it all in the outdoors. Adventurer turned academic, Senior Lecturer at Otago University Mick now teaches hundreds of students in Design for Sustainability, and his tirelesss mind for adventure and new ways of making things is never far away. |
